I am fixing to get 400ex a-arms and shocks for my son's 300ex. I thought I had decided on Elkas and Houser +2's. I am also thinking about TCS front shocks. What would be a good set up for mx.

I've got a set of hermann plus 2's and tcs standard travel triple rate remote reservoir shocks for sale off of a 400ex. Everything seems to be in good shape but I have yet to take it all off and inspect ball joints, bushings, etc...

$650 for a-arms, tie rods and shocks.

...and as a side note, don't buy any elkas unless you can get a great deal on a used set. They're not worth paying for new or paying for a slightly used set if they're still expensive...jmo

just to let you know get +3 400ex a-arms you wont regret it because +2 400ex a-arms are only +3.25 on a 300ex and you can go aleast +3 so i would suggest that and id say bugard a-arms and axis shocks because of the great customer service and they will do what ever needs done untill you shocks are perfect

These were just taken in a dark garage so they're of terrible quality....and the shock springs would need pc'd or the shock covers run, because they're ugly!:p

I can get better pics when they are taken off the quad if you are interested...
