I haven't heard about him having to pay anything. However, a couple years ago at a different indoor race, a guy on a quad jumped the berm and hit a HUGE roll up door (it was a horse arena). He ended up having to pay like $12,000 for a new door:eek2:

He's probably lucky it was just sheetmetal and bent like that... could you imagine if it was a steel beam or something?

If he would have been a foot or so to the left, he would have hit a steel beam. And he probably wouldn't have got up as quick as he did.
