i got a pair of + 2 a-arms off my 450 im selling to my frined who has a 400ex, will the 450 arms work on the 400ex? has anyone tried?

They aren't even close to fitting.

No they wont work, the spacing on the frame between the a-arm pivot bolts are too far apart.
