hell yeah. there a huge difference. on a bike, not much yard riding. they're way too loud and tear up grass like crazy. not much slow wheelies either. they're alot faster though. my buddy has a stock 2006 crf250 too. its a blast. soo much more torque than a 125. congrats on the bike.

thats cool..the guy i bought my old cannondale from switched to bikes and it took him some time to get used to it, but then he ended up doing fairly well at some races.. youll improve fairly quickly if you put a little bit of time into it

Nice bike man... I have ridden all the 250f's and the crf has a very comfortable feel to it. One of my best friends has the new Kawi, and that's a nice ride too. You're going to love your bike. I am still riding 2 strokes =\ I have a cr250 and I love it, but going to sell it so I can get a 250f for the track.
I ride track a lot on my bike, and ride my quads more in the dunes/desert. I haven't gotten into racing quads yet, but plan on it by this summer once I get dump a bunch of money into suspension. ;)
I dunno, I grew up on riding bikes, then got into quads a few years ago... but I will always have both!!

yea, well i went from riding pretty much b class in quads so goin fast and jumping aint no thing, but learning how to control the bike is a true challenge, i've only gotten to ride it twice, and i see improvements every lap, and boy can u seathop the crap out of a bike... i love the bike, i guess b/c it's diff.. I am way more comfortable on a quad and can fly, but i suck on bike and i still promise i will never switch back to 4 wheels.

im a bike noob so idk much but i got a 2 stroke 80 and its real fun to ride i love the power band its fun but how are the 4 stroke bikes? are they fun to ride? cuz as i see it is quads 4 strokes are fun and 2 stroke bikes are fun but i never rode a 4 stroke bike so i cant really compare

nice buddy id say 2 wheels are better than 4 but i dont want to start anything it takes some bigger balls to hit a huge jump on a quad than a bike but hey have fun with it pop some wheelies

They are two totally different rides... that's why I have them both. Personally, I enjoy my bike more on the track and will hit up to 110foot jumps (so far) all day long.
I love my quad mainly for dune riding but will hopefully be getting a Walsh/PEP front end soon so I can start getting competitive on the track as well.
I absolutely love my bike AND quad for desert/trail riding. I don't know, having the variety is good. Coming back from a quad ride and then hopping on your bike makes it feel like a 10speed and you can just shred anything apart that comes at you in 4th gear... Awesome feeling.

Yep, I have both. An 06 rm250 for riding with my bike buddies and a couple of Brute Forces to ride with my wife and assortment of kids quads(Kids will only ride quads, have a brand new Honda 50 for xmas and none of them will ride it.)
