I have heard this term alot latley and have been wondering what it means.

What does millign teh head do for gains?

What exactly is Milling a head?

And who does it and how much does it cost?

Is it worth it?

Milling the head raises the compression by lowering the CC of the head. Milling is removing surface area of the head, but the only bad part is this will change your cam timing if too much metal is removed. After milling a head you should degree your camshaft in for proper valve timing. improper valve timing can and will give a performance decrease.

yeah and also if you mill too much,....you could slam a valve into the top of your piston......not good..
