I have a 2000 Yamaha Big Bear as well as my 300, but I have something you might be able to help me out with on the big bear. When we bought it, the main tube of the rear rack was bent because it looked like someone hooked a chain to it, and bent it inward.

My question for you is can you cut the bad tubing out the rack, put a new tube in and then coat it in a black wrinkle??? My dad was just wondering how much this would cost instead of forking out $$$ for an entire new rack...

shouldnt be much of a problem to cut out the bad piece and weld in a new one

a guess....$65 for everything

Sounds good. I know it's kind of hard to judge how much it is without seeing it, but I'll try and get you a picture tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay. Turns out my Dad doesn't just want the rear rack done, He wants both racks and the front bumper (Push Bar) done as well. He wants it in a textured black, so I'm assuming black wrinkle would be the best..

Here's some pics as promised, and idea on a price for all this??

it will depend mainly on what they charge me to strip them, a rough geuss would be around $150 for everything, but i will work the best deal i can

Sounds Good. My dad wants it a little textured to hold up to some abuse, do you have anything like that? I was thinking Wrinkle Black or Stealth.

wrinkle black will do ok, i mean if you haul around cinderblocks it wont last but normal use it will do all it can do:p

Yeah, I understand that. I guess wrinkle it is. I'm not sure when Pop's wants to send them out, but I'll give you a head's up when he does. He's a little busy switching jobs right now anyhoo.
