I have a WER dampener and need to change the oil in it...ive lost the directions, but remember that there was a few different oils you could use in it. Does anyone know of any?

I used hydraulic jack oil. I don't know if there's different kinds of that but the stuff I used was a light wight oil that is supposed to help keep leaks from happening as well. It's a little heaver than what came out of mine, but I think it works better. I'll take a pic of the bottle if I can find it.

Alright, can you just pick that up at a autoparts store? Would plain hydralic oil work?

Yeah, I just bought it at the auto parts store in town....like $3.50 I think...

Plain hydraulic oil should work because really all it has to do is not be corrosive to the seals and it should be fine. Make sure you don't put a crazy thick oil in though....it might make it feel a little harder than usual...

I have always used fork oil in the stick type dampers
