I want to put the new 400ex plastic on my old version 400ex, what do you do with the reverse hole in the plastic?

I installed my key in mine. order up the little black cover for the reverse switch and make a little metal bracket that the key will slip into and bolt to the black cover. I had to epoxy my key to my metal bracket but it is still removable with only 3 screws. It turned out nice.

I race cross country are the wires pretty vulnerable hanging down there aren't they? I don't have any equipment to make and brackets.
Also how hard is it to get the headlight to work? Can I just buy the parts to mount it from honda and does it just plug in?
or better yet anyone have a list of parts i need

I have air scoops an you can barely see the wires.I don't think theres any way they will get knocked around
an theres a kit on ebay to do the conversion. Its all stock parts nothing special.I'm not exactly sure whats needed but I would guess just the light an a bracket
