man if you plan on doing some serious riding in rough areas, GET THEM. In my mind they are worth every dollar. I have gone though 4 sets of aluminum wheels and then i got hyper carbons. They are by far the best!!!!

i have a whole thread about the 480 kit. Its called "My 480 kit project". Check that out!!! And you really just have to look around for the best price on the carbons. I got mine off there website though. I think it is www.hiper-technology.com. But your best bet is to just do some shopping around. Oh and the 480 kit thread is not far below this post, back on the YFZ page!!

Hipers are the best rim for the money when it comes to a beadlock keep in mind their price does reflect a warranty.. that is some of the reason for the cost.

hipers arent really as high price as everyone makes them to be, compared to many other higher end beadlocks. I bought mine for 650 off ebay new about 3 months ago and that shipped.

HiPers are by far the best buy for the money as far as wheels go. There are other beadlocks out there that cost more than HiPers. I would check out KB Motorsports for some good prices. Not sure if C&D sells them or not, I'd probably check with them also.

My friend owns a shop and they used to swear by Douglas which was Mitchel wheel when they started racing. When Douglas shot their yearly buy-in through the roof, they started selling Hypers and they love the wheels. I haven't seen or heard of any problems with them.

Doubt you'll see anyone that dislikes them

In the end they are just a wheel but they flex so the guarrentied wobble that you get with alluminum wheels won't ever happen. I was super pissed every time I bought new beadlocks or just wheels for that matter and they were wobbling after 3-4 good jumps landing as easy as possible. They never got any worse though. I guess thats a +.

don't want to offend anyone but i've though about hypers before and i never did know why the pros don't run the hypers. i know that everyone here likes the hypers but why don't the pro mx guys run them? i've talked to one guy who says that he breaks the hypers all the time.

I dont think pros run them becuase there not paid to run them. If you do break up. Hiper will send you a new pair. They look 10000 times better then the alumium beads to

douglas pays more money then hiper. dana creech is just 1 pro off the top of my head who runs hiper ive never seen any of his break. Ive seen him in person and he is rough on his stuff lol. But yea if douglas was gonna pay me to run their wheel id ditch my hipers.

The main reason I like HiPer is because they are so easy to clean.. I hate polishing .. lol
