Ok, heres the deal. I just turned 18 and I planned on buying a new 450. I remembered you gotta have credit to be approved. So then I thought Id put some cash down and get the first time buyers program. Well you have to be on your job a year. They told me Id need a co signer, I asked my dad and he laughed... Im stuck here

what to do?

go to your bank and get a personal loan.

Which 450?

I was there before too. I had 4 g's to put down, this was way back when too. I ended up buying a used one. I got a credit card with a $500 limit, kept paying that off, then it went up to $3000, and then $6000. And now that was maxed out recently and im like OH ****! But I eventually had enough credit to get a new quad. It took alot though. You're more then likely not going to be able to get a loan w/o a cosigner.

only way your going to be able to get one is if you have another family member willing to have it put in there name, at 18 most will fail you for qualify right off the bat unless excellent credit. Banks usually do not give loans to 18 year olds for that amount either. I'd say your better off saying up and getting one with cash.

I think they will finance you if you have 50% down.

But with no credit you will get an INSANE interest rate. I got my 450r when I turned 18 I worked 2 jobs for 2 summers to save up enough for it. Just save up and pay all cash, its the cheapest way to do it.

yup just save your pennys...quads are crazy expensive, if i were you i would look for a cheaper 450, somewhere in the 3500 range in your area and see fi you can work out a deal
