Wedge,
It all depends on the type of riding you are doing, but a suspension upgrade would be a good mod for you. It is not the cheapest, but it gives you the most benefit. The riding days that used to get you so fatigued will seem like distant memories. You don't have to get the most expensive suspension to reap the benefits, but if you are going to do MX or serious jumping; then a good quality brand is recommended. JIM

If youre not looking into buying aftermarket suspension yet, just set it stiffer if you are bottoming out. If you are more of a trail man, than I would set it soft. You will enjoy the ride more and not take every single bump. But it all depends, if you bottom out either way, then get yourself some aftermarket.

I agree with the point that 300EX_man is making. I would add that if "mod money" is low, then save for shocks as your first mod. You don't even have to get a rear shock, you can have it revalved/resprung for your weight and riding style. If you are not too aggressive a rider, you can get by with a cheaper shock...like Works. why would you want a six pack when you can have a keg.

Exactly. a six pack definetly won't get you as far a keg.
