How imperative is it to have a HD cam chain with a 416 w/ 11:1 compression and stage 2 hotcam? Our only choice for a HD chain is a '02 CRF chain correct?

A CRF cam chain works fine, better to be safe than sorry.

Its not a must, but when your 11:1 416 motor stretches your old stock cam chain and your motor grenades leaving you with a $3500 paper weight your gonna think, "Damn why didn't I just cough up the extra $27 for the HD timing chain when I spent the other $500 on performance mods?"
