I was very impressed with mine and it was definately quieter than others without the quiet core in.

The new GYTR is supposed to be.

Im not real sure it will make 99db's that are required this year. It may be close. guess i will have to dig out the meter and check it.

The new DB rules are insane. I've been wanting to build our 450R for 2 years and I'm scared to get started. As far as I know NONE of the non-quiet pipes out will be low enough. I'd hate to know I have $3000 in a motor that revolves around a pipe thats illegal. A guy my wife used to work with's Sparks was 112 when it was tested on his YFZ. Don't buy the Sparks Big Core.

i think the decibal limits are bs. why does it matter how loud it is if it's a closed course competition?? i can understand db levels at a park or something but a race? come on thats just bs

We had a full yosh system on one of our teams bikes last year. It started the year around 96 db and was at 100db after a full season without a repack and with the quiet core removed.

James ended up being sponsered by Motoworks and now runs their system. Motoworks quality is very good. The pipes they gave him sound louder (to me) than the yosh when you are riding, but pass the 99 db sound check. They have a core nearly as big as a sparks and make great power. Time will tell, how often we need to repack it to keep it within specs, but it has been working well so far this season.
