I just put on my 450R front shocks on this morning in about 30 Minutes total including modding the upper shock frame mounts. Totaly easy with the right tools. Went riding this afternoon and all I can say is WOW what a difference. I love the way the bike rides now. I still have a little adjusting to do with the Rebound, Compression and Dampining settings but it is truely a night and day difference the bike now rides like a dream on the rough stuff even at high speed I was totaly in control. This is an awsome modification for someone on a budget and even if they dont have much mechanical knoledge it is easily done. Go for it if you havnt already you will definately be pleased.

I just bolted mine on - but you've got to grind the top shock eye off a bit to get them to fit!

Dont grind the shock itself. Knock off the tack welded nut on the inside of the upper shock tower and replace it with a pan head screw facing up with the nut on the top. This will give you the clearance on top then grind just a tad on the inside rear of the shock tower where it curves under and they fit perfectly and you wont ruin the shocks.
