I run Amsoil sythetic and usually run like 32:1...we were running 50:1 for a while and it worked good but then suddenly we started going through crank rod bearings very fast....come to find out with 50:1 it was starving the bearings from that oil lubrication they need and was toasting them after hard riding....so 32:1 fixed that, and its not too rich either

ive run yamalube at 32:1 for years... it is great, and the maxima 927 is a good oil as well... i would go with one of the two and stick with it...

I've been running Maxima Super M at 40:1 for some time now. Not saying that's necessarily the best or anything--just what I've been doing.

I'm about to shock some of you guys, specially those that know me & how I do engines.

The 330R my daughters been running for the past two racing seasons that nothing other than the head dome has been touched on, we run a 32:1 mix of 110 Sunoco & Honda GN 2 injector oil, thats right regular petrolum oil.

I've run just about every kind of 2 stroke oil sold & one brand is just as good as any other far as how good it will protect the engines moving parts inside.
Whats more important than a brand of oil, are the proper size jets in that carb, whos changing them & how much attention is paid to keeping the air filter clean, or should I say how perfect anyone can be while cleaning the air filter.

Oil prices play a part as well, at least it does to me.
Honda GN 2 retails for around 4.00 a qt.

I'm not suggesting you to run this brand of oil, thats for you to decide & what you would like to use.

It really depends on wut oil you run, My buddy ran my oil H1R 32:1, his mechanic, engine builder, told him to run it 24:1, that was on a strictly RACE BIKE, only got ran for races.

But on his other R he runs Honda oil and runs it 20:1 like it sais on the gas tank.

My suggestion is get a good oil Like Bel-Ray or AmsOil and run it 32:1 that will be plenty fine.
