the best car ever made in my eyes. here's a little video about it

16 cylinders, 4 turbo's, 10 radiators, 1,001hp, 407km/h, 253 mph

at full speed the tires can only last for 15 minutes.

I love the veyrons. When they first came out i read all about them and watched a couple movies about them. The engineers stated that this car reached the absolute limits for a conventional car. If I were rich I would definitely own one!

that thing is a beast.

LOL omg. so the tires will shread apart in 15 minutes but lucky in 12 minutes you'll run outta gas. boy, arent those engineers nice! haha

You have to look at it like this though. At full speed they car is using all 1001 hp. It takes somewhere around 2 gallons of gas per minute to make that much hp. Its in the physics. And yes i agree the tires only lasting 15 min is crazy, but remember they are normal streetable tires that aren't really made for that speed.

I think its stupid personally, shooting for 1001 horsepower, I've seen supras with 60k of engine work in it hit 1000 horsepower. 16 cylnders four turbos and ten radiators is crazy. But it sure is fast!

same. it looks like a messed up bently mixed with the newer chrysler. id rather have a ford gt with twin turbo's. or a corn dog.

1.2 - 1.5 Million. Bugatti (VW) is actually loosing around 3.5 million on each car. This vehicle was not created to make profit, it was an engineering exercise.

you dont realize one thing my friend, no supra can go 253 mph, ya alot of cars can hit 1000+ hp, but can they actually go 250+ mph NO!. this car is a technological marvel on how its designed, every aspect of it is made so you can go fast. id like to see a supra, or even a skyline break the 220 mph.

ok its neat....

i thought it was silly to have 10 rads in it makes you think just how big are they and why not just have half as many and make the rads bigger? and then the other spec i find hard to believe is they say the car weighs 850,000 pounds! :huh i find thins extremely hard to believe

he prolly meant to say 8,500 instead of 850,000.

Hahaha, no I believe the 850,000 pounds is referring to UK currency, the pound. 850,000 pounds equals about $1,600,000.:)

Hmmmm could be, ill have to watch it again and listen more carefully o see if he says weighs or not

mxdave28

man thats a tuff one! he states "but, Bugatti insists that this 850,000 pound car can do it"

so is he referring to price or weight

sly400ex
03-05-2007, 09:33 AM
I highly doubt the car even weighs 8500 pounds much less 850,000!

But it's the same thing saying,

That 1.6 million dollar car can do it!
as
That 850,000 pound car can do it. (UK)

It's their currency system.

I read that a F1 race car handles better upside down ( driving on the celing) than any car driving by the general population.

I believe at 200+mph, most f1 and the ferrari enzo can actually be driven upside down due to extreme down force.

yep thats what i have heard too....

also a Saleen S7 can drive upside down at speeds above 160mph.... same concept, creates more downforce than the car weighs therefore able to drive upside down if there was a road created for the purpose or a tunnel with a nice enough transition up the walls that was long enough.... lol

03-05-2007, 12:55 PM
sweet car but they have cars that do 330 mph in 4 seconds, but those cant be driven on the road...

i wonder what the car costs, anyone know how many are produced?

that would get you from point A to point B in a very time efficient manner.... especially if going from A to B involved going across ND, SD, WY or any of the southern states that are generally nothing.... just make sure that you bring a few extra cans of gas and keep it under 200 so the tires dont explode.... lol...
