...... the high shipping cost is a trick used by alot of sellers on Ebay. When I stated a $20 dollar shipping fee, I made that loud and clear for a very specific reason, the reason is so people are not blindsided by a high $20 dollar shipping fee.... so they can bid accordingly. I know the initial reaction of alot of people is negative, but once you understand the theory\trick of higher shipping costs on Ebay, you'll appreciate the idea. Alot of people don't understand the concept at first so let me explain how the trick works....

Ebay charges sellers a fee based on the selling price of the item and doesnt not charge a sellers fee for shipping costs....

Example:
Lets say the average Ebay price of these calilpers are worth $50 dollars... Seller #1 charges $10 dollars shipping and the item will sell for $40 for a grand total of $50 dollars. This seller will have to pay an Ebay fee based on the $40 dollars.
Seller #2 Charges $20 dollars for shipping, but the market still says the brake calipers are worth $50 bucks, so this auction only gets bid up to $30. Seller #2 will have to pay an Ebay fee based on the $30 dollar selling price.

In the end, the buyers in both senarios are only paying out a total of $50 dollars and the seller with the higher shipping costs gets a better deal because he is only charged a fee on $30 dollars instead of $40. This trick works better for higher priced items and for sellers who sell alot of stuff on Ebay. I'v seen stock 450r brake calipers sell for $50 dollars on Ebay, Im hoping that my re-furbished and freshly powder coated calipers sell for a little more than $50, so that is the reason I pre-stated a $20 shipping fee. There is no reserve on these calipers, high bidder gets um.

On another note concerning my shipping policy. These calipers are wrapped up real nice with bubble wrap and are in the box ready to ship. I ship using 2-3 day Priority mail and promise to everyone that I will ship them the next day after I get paid. I am an honest guy who's been riding ATV's since the early 80's, and I buy and sell alot of ATV parts on Ebay and realize the worst thing about Ebay is waitin' for your damn parts to arrive. So I'm making a pledge to everyone that I will have my Ebay items shipped out with NO delay.

Any questions whatsoever, just ask me. I'm glad you brought up the higher than normal shipping cost statement. This same subject has been brought a few times on other ATV forums and once everyone understand how it works, everyone is happy.......... 'cept for Ebay maybe
