AMS Diamondtrak

Both tires are the same size, same price.

the difference? the little design they are going to leave in the sand...

not sure how much more expensive they are, but the sand star fronts are great... if its not too much more, go for them- you'll be glad you did...

Actually after I read some the Diamondtrak is LH/RH specific while the other isn't.

The ITP's are $100 a pair online with free shipping. Thats a pretty good deal. If you buy the others local and have to pay tax its probably going to be about the same price when its all said and done...

i have used both styles and still have them. i think they work about the same. directional throw a little less sand on the bike when turning. both styles seem to be holding up very well. i also have the ones with no rib down the center. these are not the lightest but for the price hard to beat.

If you ride hard in the bowls you will feel the difference.

Go with sand stars you will not be disappointed. :)

I used the diamondtrak fronts with 8 paddle hualers and thought they were pretty good. Personally i dont see a need for front sand tires if you are running curved rears.

I dont know about anyone else but i didnt like the sandstars all around, the steering was way to touchy.

Not paid, just the truth. It all depends on the type of dune riding you are doing. If you are in the bowls and on the side of a dune trying to stay at the top, you will then know the difference.

Single rib tires pull you down the dune when riding along the sides of steep dunes. The dull rib help you stay in a straight line.

Not a big fan of ITP but like the design of this tire. It really make a difference :huh
