I just went to my local Yami dealer to pick up a new brand of oil. Ive been running Honda GN4 semi-syn. in my 400ex. Its black after a couple rides and I just wanted to try something new.
First off, this Yami dealer had everything...Amsoil, Belray, etc.
I grabbed two courts of Amsoil, set it on the counter to purchase it, and then he recommended this Repsol ATV oil over all the others. He said they recently opened up an engine that had been running Amsoil and there was abnormal sludge everywhere. He thought that a full synthetic wouldnt carry the dirt through the oil filter as well as a semi-synthetic.
Apparently this Repsol company focuses on oil only, they dont sell any other products. They find the oil in the ground and do the whole nine yards. Repsol is what he personally used in his bikes also.
Needless to say I left w/ 4 quarts of Respol. Let me know what you guys know about this brand and if you have any experience with it. Thanks-Max
