View Full Version : Water in oil?????

Ok I checked my oil level sight glass right after it was running and there was a creamy streak running down the glass. could this be coolent? I changed the oil and checked it and there didnt look like any water or coolent in there. Anyone else seen this?

i dunno i need the same q answered .. mine does that some times and then i cahnge it and it doesn't do it for a while

Did you overheat it ever? Have you done any work on it recently? Have you been through deep water?

It's condensation most likely. After running it being cold out, when the engine cools, it gets a "dew", "sweat" type film in it.

Ok. I just bought it off a buddy and dont think he ever overheated it. He was a pretty mellow rider.

If it was any coolant seeping into the oil, it would have all been a milky greyish when ya drained it. You should be fine.

this happened to me once it was really cold out but it was only for a day.
