Help: 400ex leaking/burning oil

Ok well i've been taking this thing apart this winter to make sure everything ready for the summer so i dont run into any problems, well near the end of the season i noticed it was burning oil a little after it was first started up but then it went away, and where the cam chain tensioner is theres like alot of oil around there so im kind of confused... any help would be appreciated thanks

Valve seals, replace them.

Valve seals for sure. But about the oil around the tensioner, thats weird, have you messed with the tensioner any? It may be just the gasket?

Just replaced mine easy to do...

nope i havent touched the tensioner at all, so maybe its just that seal or whatever, and i just set the valves last night, but i ran into a problem when getting the one valve cap off because it ended up snapping because the previous owner put it on so tight, so now i got to get a new one of those
