Has anyone ever taken the cam chain tensioner apart on a 450R. I am still looking for a problem that seemed make the valve train lock up. I removed the circlip and took the guts out of the tensioner. everything appears OK. My question is, do i preload the spring when putting everything back together? I assume if i preload the spring there will be more tension on the chain.
