forget z 400.... i will always get a honda a z 400 will not beat any quad.. it wont beat the lt 450 it wont beat a banshee ,honda 450r. i can see you dont know much about a junk quad. and yea there fast but the frames bend under pressure from hard trails and i know that cause my buddy bent his from going up a really rocky hill and he got stuck .. i whent right up with my nice 2004 400 ex honda all the way best made machine never any problems

first you are a dumba** just wanted to get that out of the way. second only the 2003 frames had problems and i can not see a frame bending buy just going up a rocky incline he must have had jumped it ALOT before that third no the z cannt beat a 450r yzf450 or the lt-r 450 stock for stock because they are in a whole different class but throw in a big bore and some other goodies and the z will (depending on the rider) beat them. now the 400ex is a great bike for what it is but 4 valve, dual cam water cooled engin just makes a better faster bike. ride your honda and be happy but dont hate the z just cause it is not red
