Here it is a couple days after I got it...
Had it about a month now and done a few mods to make it look a lot more clean looking. Signals/HID lights/new windshield... minor things but haven't taken pics yet.

Cheap. I had to switch off my parents Allstate and move my truck as well over to Statefarm. But in the end it would have saved me like $300 every 6 months. I think how it ended up working out was $215 every 6 months for the bike.

I love this bike... it is amazing.

Dang thats not bad at all. I have been givin the choice (well kinda) of getting a 450r or a motorcycle. Was leaning toward 450r cause I thought insurance would kill me with a motorcycle. But thats not bad.

I dunno... depends what you want man. If you don't absolutely need a 450 (if you don't race) then I'd get a bike. I have a 400ex and a 450r... If I'm on trails I can keep up just fine on my EX anyday. The 450 is just more fun to ride...

I did my research on the insurance... read tons of forums and called every insurance place imagineable. Some places quoted me like $800... Everyone on the motorcycle forums just said go straight to State Farm. They were right.

I have all the toys... quads/dirtbikes/streetbike now. :) Parents made me pay for the bike completely on my own though. They want nothing to do with it. Ha.

Great looking bike that frame looks almost like a stealth PC  That silencer is really cool as well. Sounds like you got a nice mod list for it already. Enjoy it, and be careful :)

Thanks guys...

And the rear plate holder is the next thing to go on the list... I got the important stuff first. I think I'm just going to get rid of the passenger seat and redo the whole cowling with an aftermarket plate holder underneath it... they look soo clean.

Congradulations on the new bike.. I just sold mine a few weeks ago, and got my fiance a mx YFZ. She said I could keep it if I would buy her one too, but she couldn't keep up, nor would I want her to try.. Bikes are fun- be sure to eliminate the chicken strip on the back and front tires! :D

You can find R1's for 10,000.00 out the door if you look hard enough.

State farm is the place to go for insurance.

Full coverage- No health coverage= 67.00 a month and if your married its even cheaper.

Need to shop around..

Yeah thanks guys. :) Those "Chicken strips" are worn now. :p

Your uncle probably has a seriously bad record or something... I don't know. DUI????

And the bike cost me $9,999 OTD. Cheapest you can find in Southern California.
