Well my buddy's 2001 400ex died on the trail and couldn't get it started again... I checked the spark...and none...
I myself have a 2000 400ex so I'm in the garage right now swapping parts...swapped the coil wire...nothing....regulator(orwhatever you call it) nothing... Changed the cdi from his to mine and my bike wouldn't start changed it back and it will, but when I put my cdi in his bike still no spark ...which kind of puzzle's me...are the 2000 and 2001 cdi box's the same or different...I've looked at connections... going out right now to double check all the grounds....anything I'm missing here or any clues...we want to go biking this weekend and the only way if any to get parts is tommorow and it's 45minutes away....
