Hot Start Cable...PLEASE HELP!!

Hey I went to my dealer today and got a new clutch lever with an integrated hot start and I got the clutch all adjusted but there is tons of slack in my hot start cable!

What do I do!?

call asv and order one of theirs, works like a charm

That doesnt help me right now and I ended up getting the MSR cause that what they had in stock

You can't use the stock hotstart cable with the clutch perch mounted hotstarts. Try the CRF hotstart cable, or Baldwin and ASV sell cables that will work.

You can use it but it don't work worth a crap. Dude just order the asv, in the mean time your quad will start ok without the hotstart if you have to ride it before you can buy the new cable.

When you say it works like a charm do you mean it feels just like stock? Because the asv cable made a world of difference in mine. My stock one was stiff and would stick open sometimes.

It opens and closes smoothly. I may look into the ASV cable a little later.

This doesn't stick open. How much did the asv cable run you?

It is only 10 dollars lol thats why it comes highly recommended

i run a msr perch and lever and i called baldwin and told them my problem and they hooked me up

yea i called baldwin too, and they knew exactly what i needed.
