New piston and cam

Hey guys.. this is my first time on here but from reading and browsing around I have already learned alot.. I have a 04 Honda 450 and I am thinking of putting a cam and higher compression piston in it.. I have ordered the stage 1 hotcam and I have seen some people talking about the venom high compression piston.. it was like a 12:1 or something.. does anyone know where I can find these? and if anyone has any tips let me please let me know.. I have never done this before... Thanks

Venom pistons are semi-custom (i.e. designed by Venom [aka mixxer] and manufactured by CP). As far as I know, KBR (http://www.kbratv.com/index.html) is the exclusive distributer.

Thanks for the replies... The venom pistons sound a little hard to get ahold of:( is there any other higher compression pistons that would work well with a stage 1 hotcam that are easier to get ahold of? Something highly recomended? it would be nice to get one that you can still run with pump gas but if I have to mix 50/50 I dont mind... Thanks again

Not hard to get a hold of, a phone call away man?? They're working on a website now, not running quite yet but I think its close. The guys there seem like they will be great to deal with, once i get some money I know who i'll be calling:D
