look up the OHV/ORV laws for Kansas.

I know in Missouri (excluding some county roads in rural areas), it is impossible to make an ATV stree legal since the serial number tags the vehicle as an OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle), and no OHV, no matter the mods can never be licensed to drive on the streets.

Now.. a 1985 ATC 350x is another matter alltogether.. that considered a 3-wheeled motorcycle. LOL.

heres California's thoughts on it straight off the dmv site "“All-Terrain Vehicle” (ATV) (VC §111)—An ATV is a motor vehicle designed for
off-highway operation by an operator with no passengers. An ATV has a single seat
for the operator and handlebars for steering control, is 50 or less inches wide and
weighs 600 pounds or less, unladen. An ATV cannot be converted to on-highway
registration, regardless of aftermarket conversion kits or added equipment."
it's too bad i would love to ride my 450 to work everyday.
