I am installing my Dasa full exhaust on my 2005 450r. Do I need to clamp the pipes together? It didnt come with clamps. The header pipe slips onto the 2nd pipe and the 2nd pipe just slips into the muffler. They are tight fits. Is this all I need to do
?

No clamps. Just slip them together.

not sure on dasa but the rossier has clamps, and use the high temp copper sealer at joints.

I've never heard of using clamps. But I guess some do

I had my pipes JetHot coated. What a tight fit could barely get them in. No need for clamps anywhere

Nice I had an 05 AW, totaled it and now I got an 06 competition.
How do you like the 335, does it feel as fast as the M3. What color did you get?. How does it handle. I know there fast but there still NOT an M.....

i got it in sapphire black... first time driving it the torque is crazy from down low alot more than the m had down low... the M details in my m3 always made it feel more racey and driver interactive as with the 335i its suddle and calm without the feel of ur in a 300 hp car except for the thick steering wheel and paddle shifters...

hard to say if its faster, still havent raced a m3, seems now that the power is more usable in the 335i than the m for sure tho. my first reaction was it was a tad slower if anything, but after a while because it aint as high revving and as loud as the m3 u notice the drama incorporated with the m3 isnt in the 335i and the 335i feels slower but really isnt. ride is smoother but handles pretty well i can def say just about as good as the m3, but the comp pack on the m will hold a edge over it.

Nice, post some pics. I have only seen the 328 Coupe on the road. Was there a wait to get into the 335?
