YFZ winter rebuild

Its been apart for a little while now and its starting to come back together. This is my 05 SE YFZ. It is being set up for XC Racing.

Should be done in about a week, just waiting on a lower rear shock bolt from the dealer. It is a little more assembled than the pics show as of now.

Thats what i was about to ask,
The tread doesnt look like it would hook up to well.

I have only rode it in my back yard, and now there is no grass, On hard pack grass these tires have awesome forward bite, They hook up really well. I am going to try them out on the trails tommorrow. Will let you know more then.

Thanks,, Its not so pretty now, just got back from some muddy trails, its dirty now :mad: I tried the tires in some nasty trails and they are awesome. Great forward bite, they do slide sideways a little, I think I may groove them a bit.

I do still have the SE plastics, I am going to clean them up and see how they look on the yellow frame.

JRP, I only had about 2 hours I could get out this morning. I am going to clean it up and am not going to ride it again until the race this coming weekend. After that I am good for some riding.
