Any body know where I can get a Pro-x 330 dome? Preferably a 28cc.
I've looked on eBay and Google searched it with not much results at all.
I currently have a 33cc dome and would like to up the compression to get MORE POWER! :scary:

How much compression do you get with your 33cc dome? j/w

I don't remember exactly. It was somewhere arounnd 165 I think.
I do remember it being below 180 but not too far away.

I'd try Nacs, CT, ESR, etc. I would think any place that sells Pro X cylinders should carry the domes as well.

Does anybody know how much compression I would get with a 28cc dome on a PRO-X 330?

Should be around 180ish but depends on the porting. If the cylinders drag ported it cant trap as much volume between the exhaust port roof & TDC.

The head or top end kit, where did it come from, if its a CT Racing top end, then a ESR, LRD or LA Sleeve dome wont fit in the outter head schell, the dome will have to come from CT.

The motor is the CT PRO-X 330r power package. Except I'm using the ESR TRX5 center mount exhaust system with K&N filter (no airbox).

I just ordered a 28cc dome from CT.
I am currently running a 32cc dome.
They said that the 30cc dome will make about 175 to 185 compression. (recommended 50/50, race and 93 octain fuel)
They said that the 28cc dome should make about 190 to 200 compression. (race fuel only).
Thanks for all of the info everybody!!!

I just put a 28 cc dome in my ct 350pv and have 200 psi of compression. So you should be the same. Remember to bump up the jetting with the increased compression.

Are you saying to go more rich or lean?
Thanks for the heads up!!!

Rich on the jets,
run them babys rich & they will last you a good while.

When compression goes up, so does the internal heat on the piston, more heat on the piston the more it swells in size, so you have to add more fuel mix into the engine to kinda control the heat in the piston, keep it from swelling as much.
