hello everybody, i'll be going home for spring break in about a week and as usual, i want to take the time away from school to do something different to my quad. since im poor, im thinking about painting the plastics using black, dark blue, or white krylon fusion paint. if i go with white i will probably also switch to a black seat. just wondering if anybody would mind taking some time to photoshop these colors on my quad. also, any other suggestions are greatly appreciated! thank you in advance.

i dont think spray paint will hold up on plastics too good.

http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=222242 im willing to give it a shot.. i would love to add those things, but i got screwed with this thing. all of the money i put into it has gone towards keeping it running. now that its basically a new quad, im $$less, hence the painted everything. haha ive gotta be thrifty.

no the krylon fusion is one of the only ones that gets the job done. Its like this high tech paint that chemically bonds its self to the plastic or some ****. Its made for this kind of stuff. BTW my friend did it to his 250ex. He painted it like electric yellow and black, and it came out great. but make sure you do 4 or 5 good coats or it wont be as durable.

I know it's horrible, but it's something to kind of go by. I'm sure someone that actually has photoshop can do a way better job;)

he said spray paint, not krylon. mostlikely just sprayed it with a coat or two of cheap paint.

after reading alot of threads, krylon fusion has to hold up. just prep it right with sanding and cleaning.

my friend has his rear fender on his '02 cr125 spray painted and it doesnt even chip and all he did was wash it and spray it with walmart black paint.

this way u get ur white, ur blue, and u can keep your seat...and the back fenders, which seem to take the most punishment dont get painted so therefore they wont chip :)
