vin# location? on 400ex

Hey guys.. Im in the process of Registaring my 400ex and I need the vin off it.. I tryed to do a search but since its only 3 characters long it wont search for me!.. Well I think I found it.. its on the nose of the quad behind the push bar.. is that it? its like computer imprinted into the frame.. not the sticker that shows the model year but in front of that... let me know thanks :)

Look at the bumper, there's this sorta plate that has it stamped into the frame.

Yes, the VIN# is stamped into the horizontal frame brace piece that is directly behind the front bumper. It will be a long series of numbers and letters. I tried pointing to it in this picture with a green arrow ...

Should be on the frame right behind the bumper.
