Thanks man! Soon as I get done rebuilding my 400ex then I am gonna start working on my Mustang. It is time for it to have the bite to match the growl.


I was actually looking for 99+ GT when i ran across this car at a HELL of a deal. Since I bought it I have added the hood, saleen spiler, 01 Cobra rims, magnaflow off road x pipe, flowmasters, B&M short throw shifter and NOS 150 shot of giggle gas.

Coming up soon will be a forged internal, teksid aluminum block motor. My goal is 300 RWHP n/a running a 200 shot NOS wet system. Once you spray it's addicting LOL.

nice mod list! After I build my R ill start on mine also. Forged internals, KB 2.6, built T56, built rear, new fuel system, heads/cams, etc. If I can get about 600rwhp ill be happy :)

I thought about the supercharger route. hell, I even researched twin turbo vs single turbo. But just the feel of the nitrous activating is hard to describe. I blame it on my buddy that drag races. he took me for a ride in 800 hp drag car spraying from launch all the way to the finish line and I was hooked. next day i went out and ordered me a 150 dry system and have never looked back.


Then i ran across a great deal on a 400ex and all my build plans got put on hold. I am having too much fun with this 4 wheeler LOL

I have a 2002 street legal Camaro SS. It has a little over 700hp. I went the supercharger way, the nos wet system way, and the cams way, and never looked back. I'm basically done with all of the mods, and i am a senior in high school. It is sweet kicked most of the cars around my area's ***.

dude you have no clue how much it would cost to build a remotly close to competitive 10.5 tire car the chassis are almost 100,000 then you throw a couple 100,000 into the motor then you the body and paint you could have a million dollar loser

One of the many stangs below. My uncle inlaw is actually a multi Renegade champion and responcible for building and making the recent record setters and champions in the renegade class who they are. Theres something to be said with an 10.5 tire, "street" suspension and chasis, hydro. lifters, small cam, many other restrictive rulles, and alot of weight(compaired to other True drag cars), and still going 8's all day long. And mach1stang, you have a very good point, most people do not understand one bit how much it cost and would cost to build a competitive let alone winning 10.5 tire N/A, nitrous, or blower car.

Yeah, I miss her. I still shouldn't have sold her, I only did it because I only drove it once a month, and I could only see myself getting into trouble with it. What really sucked: was, including the price of the car, and mods... I had about $14,000 in it, and sold it for $8,000. And it wasn't like I really needed the money! Not a thing was wrong with it either!

:( Kicking myself... It was completely paid for too, bought it and modded it in cash the whole time. Everytime I see another Camaro or Stang on the streets playing around I get that sad feeling. lol

I know for a fact id miss mine like hell if I hever had to get rid of it. Its all paid for, all mods done in cash same as you. Its not as fast as yours (little 4.6 lol) but its still fun to just cruise around in.

Honestly I'm pretty indecisive about cars for some reason. I think I need help. I only own cars for a couple years, tops. I'm always friggin losing money. lol

That was my second LT1 Z28 too. I love the cars, but something always happens and I change my priorities and decide I need something good on gas, something else, yada yada. For instance, I have a truck now (makes more sense since I've got quads and can actually haul them now haha) and don't have to borrow one anymore.

Yet I know damn well that in 2 years I'll have another fast car again. Probably a third Camaro. LMAO

The new mustangs to much are pretty nice. The best ones though are the new mustang gt500. Those look really nice and have 500 hp.

thanks man for the compliments. I dont like the new mustangs either lol. Some reason they arent just for me. The new GT500 is nice, but Ford still needs to get some weight off the car. Best newer platform for a mustang IMO is the 03/04 cobra. For about $1000 you can have it in the 11's (depending on driver). Wish it was easy like that for my turd lol. I like f-bodys, just couldnt afford insurance on the one I wanted to get. It was a WS6 trans am, 6 spd. Really nice car, just insurance was gonna kill me.

Agreed. The almighty Cobra is the recent king of dollar for dollar power.

The 99+ Mustangs are at least quick enough to keep up with stock and lightly modded LT1s. Which is a lot better than previous years. :cool: Nice car you've got there.
