I am new to the whole thing and I am tradin a sub that I have to my buddy for his tiptmann 98 coustom. My question is which is a good barrel to get to replace the stocker, and the price. Thanks in advance.

well my i have had a smart parts on my a-5 and my friend has a smart parts barrel on his 98 custom, we both love the barrel

I have a 14 in and it shoots great. Don't bother getting the flatline barrel, I had it but it shot horrible

i used to have a freak barrel then a thunder pig and now a smarts part. Honestly i liked the freak barrel the most.

freak barrel kits are expensive, but they have a lot of inserts because all paintballs are different sizes. dont go above 16'' for a barrel.

Agree.. anything more and you only build the potenetial for ball spin... aka curve balls.. ;)

I alway ran a 4" base, and an 8" tip.

get a flatline barrel.
