I know there are tons of these threads, but I don't know much about jetting so I need some help. What would you guys recommend as a starting point for these mods?

K&N Filter & precharger
Sparks X6 full exhaust
Higher RPM CDI
Lid on

I know I am gonna go with a 42 slow, but I don't know what size mains to order. thanks guys

152 through 165 should be good for your application, it's always a good idea to have alot of jets so if you decide to go with a full exhaust or whatever you have all the nessicary jets.

Depending on where you live (elevation and temps) you might want to try 150 through 160. I got an 06 and I only had to go up to a 150. I'm between 500 and 800ft. temps from 20 to 90 throughout the year.

If it helps any, my elevation is 1296 ft and summer temps range from 70s to 100s. It's usually pretty humid too!

158 - 165, try those, the 42 slow jet will be damn near perfect.

alright I just got done with the install and this is what I ended up with

160 main
42 pilot
choke removal
no airbox lid

It seemed a little sluggish at first but picked up as the engine warmed. I am going to the track to ride it hard this weekend and that will really tell me how the jetting is doing. You guys think those settings will be pretty close for me? Elevation is about 1300ft and temps right now are 60*-80*

You should be ok. What does the plug look like? (plug chop) You might have to mess with the needle and fuel screw yet but, All in all you sound about right.

Well I have an 05 so I don't think my needle is adjustable. I haven't touched the idle screw yet.

no your needle isnt sorry. I went to my local shop and bought one for mine, It was like $30 but, in my eyes it was worth it for the adjustability.Your idle is fine for now or did you mean Fuel screw?

Theres a thread on this site about setting the fuel screw it will help. You will need the "D" shaped tool.
