Cracked airbox with GT Thuinder link?

I just found out that my airbox is cracked, the top of the linkage hit it where the linkage bolts to the swingarm. Has anyone else broken an airbox on an 04-05 with GT XC link, stock swinger and axis shock? because I dont remember seeing anyone else on here that it happened to. What airbox lifter do you guys reccomend that I use to fix this problem?

I've never busted mine, but I've hit it a couple times. I know several other people have as well. Houser makes nice lifter kit.

i dont race xc but-- all my teammates that run long travel in xc w/ axis/zebros= use the houser air box lifter kit on their 05s and their 06 with no trouble busting their airbox
