Im wanting to get a Pit bike to just play around on, jump, and ride around when we go riding.
Im looking for info from you guys that would help me on my purchase. Heres what things Im kinda curious about:
What are the Better brands? (i have found really cheap ones)
What offer good after market parts?
What are good prices to pay?
What are web sites that could help me out?
I just cant find much info on these things and there are so many brands, like i foudn them on ebay but those look kinda cheap. They all have differnt motors and i dont want to spend money on something crappy...So give me your thoughts...Thanks alot

either buy a honda XR/CRF 50 or a KLX110....those chinese junk are what killed he industry. If you guy one of those other bikes good luck in keeping it running and getting parts.
50riders.com or planetminis.com are your best spots, but then again the sport is dieing, i think in part to the chinese manufacturers building all the knockoffs and dragging the sport down with garbage!

id but a xr70 or drz. bbr makes awesome products for pit bikes. pricing is up to you. anywhere from a stock one for $1,000 and an insanely pimped one for $5,000.

What about the two stroke pits? KTM 50 2-stroke and the KX 65? Are those good too?

they arn't pitbikes, pitbikes are 4 bangers only, no smokers, but if ur not racing and not looking to mod it u could just ride a kx65 or something

Ahhh. that explains it. To me the two stroke models looked a little more set up.

I gotta say..i'm a die hard Honda man and I wanted to to get a CRF50 but I ended up going with a Kawasaki KLX 110. Beleive me, Kawasaki would probably be last on my list but this has been a great little bike! XR70 size with a 110 motor is a great compromise. Paid $1600 OTD. Get yourself some bars, some HD springs and you're set for a while
