What exhaust would you recommend that would give me the most power for my Z400? I have a White Brothers R4 slip on but it is way to loud and hard to find silencer because it is not made anymore.

I would take the exhaust off including the header and just run it without a pipe at all. Have fun

It's not necessarily an all or nothing deal with some pipes out there now.

I commend him on wanting to keep the dB's at a respectable level.

From direct experience, the Yoshi sounds good and works well and so does the Pro Circuit T-4. The T-4 has a deeper, throatier sound to it and neither one are on the loud side. I like the Yoshi's sound better but my b-i-l likes the T-4 better.

Performance between the two is hard to tell the difference. From stock, they're both good gains. Those are the only two I've been around on a Z400.

hmf are great pipes and you can get them with the quiet core too.
mostly your preference. most pipes can be made quite with there inserts.
