Dent in WB pipe normal ?

i just picked up a new white brothers e series pipe for the 400ex from the honda dealership, theres a large dent on the side that faces the bike when installed, im guessing this isnt normal but just to make sure is it ? 2 inches wide or so

mine has it so i'm goin to go out on a limb here and guess it's normal

its normal, i asked when i got mine and they said its so it doesn't hit the brake caliper when fully compressed in the rear.

Yes, This is totally normal with the White Brothers. They call it a "Pre Dent". This is so if you bottom out your back shock you won't dent it on the Brake Caliper.
