is there any way to polish the stock 400ex axel? thanxs

sure just sand it... and polish it... it'll take a while because it's steel, and it might not polish right out like aluminum would. I'd just suggest getting it powder coated a silver matalic or something, easier, and it'll stay stronger.

It's better to powdercoat or just paint the thing

dont try it , it just makes it rust bad as soon as water gets on it.
