is it alright to start an engine with no coolant? as long as its not for long, just to see if my wiring is right...


and we have a case of automotive coolant would that work or should i go pick up some engine ice from the dealer?

If you start for a few seconds, it should be fine, but I'd at least throw some water in in though.

Regular engine coolant is all you need, 50/50 mix.
