My girlfriend and I just got back from our Cuban vacation last Wednesday and I finally loaded a couple pictures up onto PhotoBucket , so I thought I'd share . We went with 4 other couples .... we hit crappy weather the week we were there but still managed to make the best of the vacation .

A couple highlights of the vacation ....1) getting caught in 10 foot high waves while on a catameran tour and being over an hour from land . 2) Losing the rear ladder and seat on the catameran cause the waves were bashing up against the boat . 3) The Cuban people .

I gave the guy and his wife some toys and stuff for their young kids .... they were so grateful that they gave us the hat in exchange .

The guy said it takes him 4 minutes to make ..... AMAZING !!!! I wish I could have brought it home , but you can't bring any kind of plants back home in case of bugs .

Mel and I chillen while waiting for a Dolphin show to start .... just before this we swam with the dolphins for about 30 minutes . Awesome experience .

These things are a WILD ride ... especially in Cuba where laws are pretty much non-existant . When you want to pass , you beep your horn and pull out ... doesn't matter what's comming in the other direction .

Sweeet!!! Looks like you all had a great time.........We took a cruise to progresso and Cozumel, Mexico and there were guys selling hats that were identicle to that one you have. $10 bought us 2 of em and we actually did get to bring them back to the states.

I will dig up some pics and post em up. :)

Cuba is a Dog Lover's HELL . So many stray dogs that are so infested with fleas it's sickening and VERY SAD . They scratch and bite themselves until they bleed .

You can't go to Cuba without getting absolutely smashed atleast once on your vacation off of Havana Club Rum ...in an 8oz glass ... 6oz is Rum , the rest is ice and mix . I had my night of praying to god that I would never drink rum again .

By the way ... I bought a shot glass for 3.90 pesos . I bought a 26er of Havana Club for 3.85 pesos . :devil: Needless to say , I brought back my limit in Rum !!!!!!:D

Speaking the big Ts .... I was quite disappointed that there was hardly any topless sunbathing women . The only ones I saw were on some old english woman .... my stomach turned after that . :ermm:

My girlfriend and the girls in our group were quite happy though ... they saw a young Arnold on the beach . I have to admit ... this guy was built like a brick chit house ... he had all the girls turning their heads .

Did you see any banana rats?I flew into cuba while in the Navy(on the way to Puerto Rico for deployment) and I seen what I thought was a dog on the side of the runway,it was a f***ing banana rat,they are huge

Awesome hat ...... they're actually pretty comfortable and keep you nice and cool . They block the sun yet allow wind to go through it .

As for the banana rat .... I don't have a clue what you're talking about . :confused:

knighttime .... Yes Cuba is a communist country , and yes it is illegal for Americans to go to Cuba .... but I'm not an American , and Canada has no restrictions on travel to Cuba . Cuba has become a hot spot for Canadian and European tourists in the last little while .

As for the currency they use , up until not long ago US money was widely accepted , but that is no longer . Even credit cards issued from an American bank ( MBNA Mastercard , CitiBank , etc) is not accepted anymore . Cuba uses it's own currency , which cannot be bought anywhere except for in Cuba . They use 2 currencies ... one is for the people that live in Cuba , and the other is issued to tourists , which is called the Cuban Convertible Peso ( CUC) . It's cost me $1.31 Canadian dollars to buy $1 CUC . The price fluctuated from day to day ... on avergae for $100 Canadian , I'd receive $74.50 CUC .

Honda_Stuntin ..... those little bikes really do look like helmets ....and everyone seemed to call them Helmets . Wild ride let me tell you . They're tippy and they go pretty fast !!! You can fit 3 passengers and the driver in one of them.

Josone Parque .... awesome park right in the middle of town . Many different animals , plenty of bars and fancy outdoor restaurants ... lobster dinner with veggies , bread , wine and salad for $18. Live music ... so much to see .

The only pictures of Cancun that I have are from a few thousand feet up and on the tarmack .... so I don't think you want to see that . Other than touching down and picking up passengers , I've never visited Cancun . :ermm: ..... atleast not YET !!!!:devil:
