IDK WHAT ELSE TO TRY, there are no air leaks, ive jetted and rejetted, then rejetted agian, cleaned the entire carb, everything looks fine..... i have no idea what to do with it.

also during the timing chain install i had the clutch out, now with it reinstalled it slips reallllly bad, are the plates supposed to get oil or stay dry????

The clutch fibers need to soak in oil prior to installation. Did you turn the idle up?

idle screw is completly turned all the way.... bottomed out! and the plates have oil on them, thats why i was wondering if there supposed to be oily or "dry"

What mods and jetting are you running? What color is your plug?

dont know about plug, dont have a socket and im not takin the valve cover off everytime i want it out... (sucks), as far as mod, its a 426, 13:1, full curtis sparks exhuast, K&N open box, 165mj, 40pj, needle on 3rd notch. when i got the bike it idled but was hard to crank, and i also went to running 100 octane, not blue racing gas, which i think is 114. it had a 38 pilot in it, and would idle with the 114, but then i bought it and began to run 100 octane, then it started gettin worse, and ichanged the pilot, checked everything!!!! im lost, maybe goin back to 114???? could octane make the difference????

You sound lean to me, VERY lean, i have a 42 pilot (still lean for me) 3 turns out fuel screw, 165 main, full sparks exhaust, twin air filter (lid on) 10.8:1 87mm piston, hotcam stg 2. I'm running a tad bit lean with the cooler weather, i'm still a little lean on the main though, popping a de-acell. I suggest bumping the main to 45.

ive had a 45 pilot in, same thing, cranksa little better, but still no idle, at all, as soon as i let off, its off, dont even try to idle then die out.... IDK

I think im riggin up fuel injection on it B)

Did you try messing with the fuel screw?

yea, im to the point i coud take this thing off blind folded, rejet it and reinstall it , to bad i just cant correctly jet it.... lol

i noticed on here somebody running a Khein 48 pilot, maybe Khein jet numbers are different from after market.... idk, im throwing a 50 in it next chance i get to go and get it, cant hurt it!

You didn't say you weren't running keihin jets :p What jets are you running? I assume you're using a keihin pilot?

yea, their kehin.... i but i dont get why it use to idle with a 38, but i go to 45 and it cranks better, but want idle.... maybe difference in octane??

hell I don't know, is it getting gas? Is your gas on? Just obvious things you might have overlooked. Is your choke stuck? Fuel petcock clogged? Gas tank clogged?

Will it idle with the choke on?
