Ok im dropping a ktm 450 engine in my 400ex frame. Where the swingarm bolt goes through the engine, the hole is larger than the bolt, making it have room to move a little bit. Do i need to put a spacer in there to make more room? Im sure this is probably the same problem as another 450 engine. Thanks for the help...

Yeah most hybrids are like that. You need to make a spacer or you can just put a fatter bolt in their. To fit a fatter bolt you will have to drill the 2 frame holes out.

That fatter bolt also has to go through the swing arm!
Both sides too.
See you machinist and fab a bushing insert.
Cheap,quick,easy.....

You Never want to ever think about drilling out your pivot bolt holes for the frame. Like ss440ex said you still need to go throught the swingarm bearings also. Any decent machinst can make you the bushing you need, just take him one of the old bushings out of the engine case for an accurate OD measurement, and take him your bolt for an ID measurement. You will also want to mock everything up to see how wide you are going to need the bushing. You want everything to fit right and snug!
