I went to my AAA dealer today and put insurance on my 450r. It will be $161 per year. I feel much better already! I insured it for $6500  .

If you're thinking about doing this...DO IT, it's worth it. I Got comprehensive insurance (fire, theft, vandalism etc...) and Liability insurance (some one gets injured on my machine or if I hurt someone with it, lol)

Now I can sleep better! :p

Lets say I inshure my quad. I paid 3k for it. But have 10k in mods done to it. But have no recips for any of the stuf I bought. If I inshure it for 13k does that mean I can be re-embersed that money event tho I have no proof that it is actually worth that?

not at all saying that I have spend 13k on my quad either. just in theory

I went through progressive and insurured it for what it is worth (3k is what they said) Then I added 2k in accesorie indurance so It was insured for what it was worth plus 2k with no reciepts needed. and I only paid I beleve $20 extra a year

thru progressive my CBR600RR is comprehensive.... its got a 1000$ deductiable that decreases every year by 25%... also they cover the blue book or go and look what other bikes of the same calibar are sellin for in the area and use that for the bike if its damaged or stolen by someone else... they will cover up to 3,000$ in mods...

i'm sure a quad is the same... u can change the deductible... but it was like 650 for 1000$ and 1300 for 500... i didn't even look at 250 or 100...
