Heel guards (AGAIN!)

Ya I know ther is numerous past threads for this, but I am looking for some fresh ideas. I have nerfs w/o guards, and I have had more than a my share of close calls and need to solve this problem before the inevitable(sp) happens. I cant afford new nerfs right now. Any help is appreciated ,THANKS

it was like 40 bucks to have these made and welded they r doin a fine job

you can always make your own with some sheet metal and metal or anything you can find

Why dont you get a stock set of heel guards from ebay or the classifieds section. That will get you going pretty cheap.

I've looked at the stock guards and they wont bolt back up due to the shape of my nerfs.Plus I would like to use metal because the plastic ones get pretty chewed up after a while.Thanks for the help guys.any more info or pics out there?Also BTW Cobra nrfs suck pretty badly but they were a gift.

I bought these for 40$ then modded them to work with my pegs and nerfs.

i made my own.. find some sheet metal, and some aluminum peices of metal, and fabricate some.. its very easy.

Thanks guys,I might take a trip out to the store tomorow and get some supplies,I'm thinking just bolt em throgh the holes in the pegs,They all look good though.

in the peg on the backside of it, there should be a hole in the side closest to the frame, i drilled the same size hole in the left side of the peg and bolted my heel guards to that, and i made an L shaped bracket going from the back to the stock mount (on the subframe before the battery)
