bogging

yesterday i went riding. and every time i would come across a long whoop section mine would bog and almost shut off it was like it was running out of gas. then it would backfire through the exhaust. i tried it in several diff gears and that didn't change anything. i was wondering if this is b/c i was on and off of the gas or a another problem. the 450r is a bone stock 04 any help would be great. and i let a friend of mine ride it and it done the same thing with him

yea that was the only place that it done it all day. we went on some trails and it never done it again. at first i thought that my left hand may have been hitting the hot start lever but then i put my hand further out on the bars and it still done it. but it doesn't do it until i got about 3/4 of the way through the whoops. the first time it done it i about flipped off the front of it. it feels just like it's running out of gas :confused:

A kid I know had simular issues. If you went over a woop or bump it would pop or sputter. I was somewhat convinced it had something to do with valves needing adjustment. later on his motor seized up. his was also a bone stock 04 450r

he did go over the bars one time because the bike stalled completely, he broke a cupple ribs over it.

My friends did the same thing. Then the crank bearing came through the case.
