How much oil in the tranny of an 04?

I changed the oil and tranny fluid on my 04 right after I installed the 480 kit. I wasnt sure on the amount of oil for the tranny though. My 07 uses about 3/4 of a quart so thats what I put in. After riding it around for a while I had oil coming out of the engine somewhere (I havent pinpointed it yet). I was wondering if I added to much if it might come out one of the breather hoses while riding. Thanks for any input

04-05's take something like 550 or 575cc on the tranny side according to the manual.

Most people, including me put 650cc to get it to come out of the check hole.

why not just use the check hole?

if u overfill the tranny is will come of out the hose above the cam tower that is on the black pastic gas tank heat shield.
