i found 2 450r's that i am interested in but i am only going to be buying one.

1st one is a 2004 450r with a few mods for 3400 that one is off ebay. s/o hmf pipe, gripper seat, maier front plastics and some other mods i cant remember. this quad was bought last yr as a leftover

other one i found was 2004 450r with a few mods again for 3600 not off ebay. it has a/c nerfs tag handle bars,bear claw tires, a/c front bumper. and acerbrase(sp) hand guards.

which wuad do you think would be the best?

If they are close enough I would go and ride them both. The price sounds reasonable, but pictures can be deceiving. It sounds like one of them was trail ridden more than the other (bear claw tires), maybe the plastic is scratched up more. My suggestion would be to try and ride them both though, we dont buy these 450r's to baby them, so try and ride them to see what kind of shape they are in. Good Luck!!

Im in ct, ones on staten island other is in nj, so its just the better price and which one looks the best.

if i was just going by your discription id got with the $3600 one, because: it said hmf s/o now while that may be good and all but it might also mean that someones been messing with the jetting and it could cost you a carb or worse later on down the road. and you said other stuff you cant remember and if thats motor work that may also apply.

talk them down to 3g. go with the cash in your hand ( and a little extra in the truck just in case they say no and the bikes really do look good) because i picked up 2 05 hondas in october for 3500 and 3200 and they were pretty good condition

yeah the lowest he can go is 3400 ill try to knock him down another 200 or 100 becuase i need to sell my 400 so ill tell him i only got 3200 cash
